Workshop Brief

“Music and Rhythm find their way to secret places in the soul“ - Plato

Music has the power to stimulate our mood, create harmony and fuel emotions. Rhythm gives it pace and drives it. Music relates to the heart while rhythm relates to heartbeat. One is integral to the other.

AVID - The School of Continuous Learning presents AVID Harmony - A series on understanding music. ‘Music Within Us’, the first in this series, a 2-hour musical extravaganza, explains why we respond to music, why is rhythm crucial to music and about the genres of music. Feel it all within and around you…try out the drums provided...learn from the expert Ameya Naik.
